Great player, but you can not open the disk via the remote. Easy to install and excellent image quality.

No doubt about it, flat screen HDTVs have gone from being tvs for the enthusiast and the wealthy to the natural replacement choice for the common household. A popular question is which is better, an LCD flat screen tv or a plasma tv?
In years past this would be a much easier answer as there were clear differences between the two tv options, with a plasma tv being the natural flat panel choice for a home theater due in part to the limited size options for large screen tvs.

This player is not worth the extra money if you really need wireless. You can not stream Netflix.
The video quality is beautiful, is used on a par with the Samsung BDP 1600, and for streaming.
I connected to a kdl40v5100 Sony BRAVIA TV and Sony 7.1 AV Receiver strda2400es.
Startup time is 30 seconds. The remote is ridiculous. The drive to play Blu Ray disks to create vgnaw290 I have the laptop Sony, Samsung Blu Ray player will not play. In all honesty,
Blocks Samsung BDP1600 me crazy, but the popping sound that Sony bdp560 moved while they were available video mode, it's annoying.
